Researchers’ report: “Infection coefficient provides sufficient safety margins to prevent infection”

In the shadow of curbing morbidity in Corona in Israel, researchers from the Hebrew University published today (Friday) a report showing an up-to-date picture. According to the findings presented in the report, the morbidity situation in Corona is in line with the expectations that researchers have had since the end of August, from which it can be learned that the situation is improving.

The data presented in three graphs show that the number of infected people is on a declining trend. Also, the low infection coefficient provides sufficient safety margins to prevent the recurrence of the outbreak as a result of the opening of the education system. The researchers added that the rapid test of education in education was successful and helped in the early detection of positives, and it is recommended to perform it again before returning from Sukkot holiday.

Along with a continuing decline in the number of critically ill patients, in parallel with the color of the third vaccine dose, the researchers pointed out that this is also a result of partial data during the holidays and weekends. In the past such incidents, in which a sudden drop in the number of releases and exclusions, have been corrected retroactively.

“We warned of an expected disruption in the lifestyle, and it occurred and manifested itself in very many isolations along with congestion in the test complexes and needed to be significantly increased,” the researchers stated in the report. Masks with thousands of adhesives per day (2000-5000) are also expected to alleviate the issue of insulation and clutter at test points.
