The 2021 Renault Captur abandons diesel and gains a new “sporty” RS Line finish.

Orders are open and prices start at € 28,400 with the TCe 140 petrol engine. At this price, the Captur wins a specific badge on the trunk lid, a redesigned front bumper with an F1 blade, a gray rear diffuser and exclusive 18-inch alloy wheels. Not to mention two chrome tailpipes.

Same thing inside since the SUV adopts a specific upholstery with red piping and a perforated leather steering wheel with red and gray stitching. A carbon-finish dashboard, aluminum pedals and Renault Sport-branded door sills complete the range.

As for standard equipment, we find in particular a 10-inch digital handset, front and rear parking assistance with reversing camera or an induction charger.

New for Captur Initiale Paris

Along with the enthronement of this new version, Renault is also slightly upgrading the range of its Captur at the start of 2021. The high finish “Initiale Paris” in particular is enhanced by a 360 ° camera. “The shark antenna adopts a black finish on the roof colors concerned, the front and rear skis gain in distinction with an Erbé gray finish and the steering wheel paddles are adorned with chrome”, adds Renault.

No more diesel for the Captur

Finally, on the engine side, the Captur abandons the 1.5L Blue dCi and is no longer offered in diesel. The SUV now offers petrol (TCe 90 and 140), LPG (TCe 100 GPL) and plug-in hybrid (E-Tech plug-in Hybrid 160) units. Soon, it will also be available in a simple hybrid version (E-Tech Hybrid).
