Instead of giving up your dress that has become makeup stained, try the tricks below.
A Popsugar compiled a guide that can remove various makeup stains.
Spray a little hairspray on the lipstick stain and let stand for 10 minutes. Then wipe with a sponge and throw in the wash. You can also try rocking powder or baking soda to remove oil and wax-based lipsticks.
If long-lasting makeup has left a stain like waterproof mascara, try removing the stain with a makeup remover. Make sure that the product is oil-free so that it does not smear the stain better.
You can also pre-treat the powder and liquid foundation with shampoo or shaving cream, both of which have a cleansing effect. After pre-treatment, throw the clothes in the laundry.
To remove a self-tanning stain left on a bed linen or cloth, first rinse the affected area with cold water. Then, using a sponge and dishwashing liquid, try to remove the stains to dissolve the oil in it. As a last resort, you can also try glycerin.
Comment: These suggestions apply to the immediate treatment of stains. You should also be careful not to dry the cloth until you have removed the stain, as the heat may dry out the stain even more.
