The nominated projects are nominated for competition in the international arena, which also highlights the potential of Bangladesh’s IT sector.
Welcoming the gathering, Rashed Kamal, Co-Convener of BASIS National ICT Awards 2020, said that this year’s BASIS National ICT Awards is going to be held on a ten-fold scale. This year 105 awards will be given in 35 categories.
Mominul Islam, Managing Director and CEO of IPDC Finance Limited, the sponsor of the event, said the BASIS National ICT Award aims to recognize individuals, students, entrepreneurs, SMEs and IT companies in Bangladesh for their outstanding achievements in building a digital Bangladesh.
Farhana A. Rahman, Senior Vice President, BASIS, hopes that this year’s trial using technology will take the BASIS National ICT Awards-2020 to new heights. He also requested for increasing the participation of women.
