Refreshing WhatsApp Search Interface – Technopat

WhatsApp will change the design of the calling screen.

After adjusting for multi-device support and photo compression, WhatsApp offers a new user interface for voice and video calls, making it easy to add new participants and join calls later. Latest WhatsApp Beta updateintroduces a new calling UI that is clearly inspired by FaceTime. With the new user interface, transitions are made more prominent with a bright white color scheme. In the previous version, the transitions were grayscale. Therefore, it was not easy to tell at first glance whether something was turned on or not.

With the new design, the end call button has been moved to the bottom row. So this button is now located next to the audio, microphone and video toggles. However, swiping up from the bottom row reveals the add participant button. This innovation will make it easier to add new contacts to call while holding the device with one hand. The add participant button is already in place but may be removed completely in the coming days.

WhatsApp Interface

Another improvement in the latest beta version of WhatsApp is the ability to join the call after group calls have started. The service offers the “Tap to join” option if you missed it when someone invited you to a group call and the call is still in progress. Previously, if a call was missed, the only way to get on the call was if the caller added you back. However, with the new update, it will be enough to invite people to the search only once. Invited people will also be able to join the call at any time.

Finally, let’s mention that the new calling UI and improved group calling experience are available with the latest WhatsApp beta update for Android and iOS.
