Record resumes the Challenge Park organization and starts to count on the sponsorship of Meo – Meios & Publicidade

Meo is the new naming sponsor of Record Challenge Park, an event dedicated to sport and family that the Cofina title is once again organizing this year after a forced stoppage caused by the pandemic. After a break in 2020, the initiative is back on the 25th of September at Parque de Jogos 1º de Maio at Inatel, in Lisbon, and, for the first time, will be sponsored by Meo, an Altice Portugal brand that will become integrate the naming of the event, now called Record Challenge Park powered by Meo.

The initiative is seen by the telecommunications operator as “a good opportunity to give a signal to society that we are gradually returning to a normal life, in which the practice of sports and events come together, for the benefit of health and to provide moments of leisure and entertainment”, justifies João Epifânio, director of Altice Portugal for the consumer segment, adding that “one of the factors that motivated us to participate in this initiative is the fact that it is an event with familiar characteristics for everyone who wants to participate, from 8 to 88”.

In addition to the usual sports and leisure activities inspired by the diversity of modalities of the Olympic Games, in a total of 30, ranging from street football and street basket to padel, passing by long jump, target shooting or mini golf, the event debuts yet another modality with the presence of Altice to be highlighted with the creation of the Moche Skate Park. The space is one of the activations of the telecommunications operator’s brand for the youth segment, along with a lounge for resting with coffee, picolinis Meo by Santini or sweets.

Prior registration on the website and presentation of a Covid Digital Certificate or negative test are among the measures to ensure compliance with the rules established by the DGS and guarantee the safety of the event, whose fifth edition will also feature a concert promoted by the Portuguese singer and composer Fernando Daniel, from 3:30 pm, where admission will be free but limited to the capacity of the concert space, in a fenced area, and registration is required on the day and at the venue.
