NOVI SAD – The price of soybeans reached a new record this year at the Novi Sad Product Exchange of 83.08 dinars / about 0.70 euros / per kilogram without VAT, the Exchange announced.

This price of soybeans in the period from April 11 to 15 is higher by 0.91 compared to last week.

In trading through the Stock Exchange, the first futures offer of this year’s soybeans was recorded, which was realized at a price level of 640 euros per ton, or 75.36 dinars / about 0.64 euros / per kilogram without VAT.

There is a weak demand for corn on the Stock Exchange this week as well. Corn for prompt delivery was traded at a single price of 33 dinars / about 0.28 euros / per kilogram, which is 0.79 percent more than last week.

Wheat was traded at an average price of 35.93 dinars / about 0.30 euros / per kilogram, which is a 2.41 percent increase compared to last week.

Sunflower meal with 33 percent protein was sold at a price of 43.50 dinars / about 0.37 euros / per kilogram.

One contract with fodder flour was realized at the price of 22 dinars / about 0.19 euros / per kilogram without VAT.

The Stock Exchange announces that the harvest of a new kind of rapeseed could start in two months, which will depend on the weather conditions.

The forward demand for this oilseed ranged from 800 to 810 euros per ton in dinar equivalent on the day of payment. It is stated that there is still no offer for oilseed rape.
