Photos of the boxes revealed that the card, called the Radeon RX 7600, will feature a fully active core Navi 33 with 2048 stream-processors (32 CU). Of course, this brought up the question of what the Radeon RX 7600 XT will look like – if it’s going to happen at all. There are three hypotheses. One assumes the same core configuration, only with slightly higher clocks and 16 GB of graphics memory instead of 8 GB. The other speculates that the XT could be equipped with a new chip revision (that such a thing is coming, but reliable sources do not know). And the third presents the possibility that it would be a cut-down chiplet GPU configuration Navi 32.

Anyway, the Radeon RX 7600 will be an 8GB card for the lower price range, which according to some indications could be about 11% faster than the Radeon RX 6650 XT. Which means, at best, a Radeon RX 6700 approximation (without XT). Since the Radeon RX 6650 XT currently costs around $299 (there are already $279 models on sale), the corresponding price could be $329, maybe a little less (which depends on the exact performance).

Achieving lower performance levels and setting a lower price can be disappointing on the one hand, on the other hand such a product can appeal to users who are not interested in cards in the price category around $1000 and at the same time would prefer something more modernly equipped before buying almost three-year-old architectures.
