psd. Pinto Moreira informed Parliament that he will resume his mandate as deputy

PSD deputy Joaquim Pinto Moreira will have already informed Parliament of his intention to resume his deputy mandate, which was suspended, at his request, at the end of March, after being constituted as an arguido within the scope of Operation Vortex.

The information was confirmed to the Lusa agency by the president of the Transparency Commission, Socialist deputy Alexandra Leitão.

The request has already been received by the Commission and will be transmitted at the next meeting, Tuesday, informed Alexandra Leitão, stressing that the return of Pinto Moreira is not dependent on any opinion or vote for this resumption of mandate.

It should be recalled that the Operation Vortex process, in which the social democrat was made an accused, is related to “real estate projects and the respective licensing [na Câmara de Espinho]concerning multi-family buildings and hotel units, involving urban interests of tens of millions of euros, processed for the benefit of certain economic operators”, explained the Judiciary Police at the time.
