ProSiebenSat.1 Puls 4 launches Shoppable TV

Together with MediaShop, ProSiebenSat.1 Puls 4 is implementing a shoppable TV campaign for the first time in the addressable TV area for the new season of “2 Minuten 2 Mio”. The viewers are taken from the TV to the online shop, where they can order the product from the program directly to their home.

In cooperation with MediaShop, ProSiebenSat.1 Puls 4 has been running such a “Shoppable TV” campaign in Austria for the first time since January. During the Puls 4 startup show “2 Minuten 2 Mio.”, viewers receive a so-called live notification via which they can be linked directly to the MediaShop online shop via smartphone. There you can take a closer look at the startup’s product and order it straight away.

Users simply have to press the OK button on their remote control to be guided to the product page in the online shop via QR code in the next step. “Shoppable TV” enables the broadcaster to lead viewers directly to the purchase.

Dr. Michael Stix, CCO ProSiebenSat.1 Puls 4: “With Shoppable TV we are offering our advertising customers a completely new opportunity to create a direct customer journey from TV to the purchase.”

“Shoppable TV is another step for us as an omni-channel pioneer,” adds MediaShop CEO Katharina Schneider.
