BANJA LUKA – Market analysis with the aim of connecting companies from Srpska, especially from the metal, wood and food industries, with companies from Austria, is a key activity of the RS Representation in Vienna.
Thanks to the service, which is designed in three phases, domestic export-oriented companies have a better chance of reaching the Austrian market and consolidating their positions there.
“The first phase is the business register, where businessmen from Srpska can register, then the ‘Outridge’ program, which offers analysis of the Austrian market and faster communication with Austrian businessmen, and the third phase is ‘Showroom’, ie the concept of stores”, he clarified for “Glas Srpske”Mladen Filipović, Head of the RS Representation in Austria, emphasizing that Austrians especially appreciate the quality of our products.
He pointed out that the second phase is currently intensifying and that they are extensively visiting businessmen from RS and organizing trainings for them in order to prepare for leaving for Austria.
“We do market analysis by industry, especially for metal, wood and food industry, and in addition we do market analysis for specific companies and provide direct contacts with Austrian partners, which is currently working intensively with more than 150 companies from Srpska”, said Filipović, emphasizing that they are largely preparing the ground for domestic companies to enter the Austrian market.
Speaking about “Showroom”, Filipović reminds that this concept of stores in Linz has existed for two years and that concrete results are already visible. Namely, the companies that represent themselves in “Showroom” already have partners in Austria. Filipovic adds that the plan is for the concept store to be opened in Vienna, Graz and Salzburg.
“We plan to enable the placement of products in Austria for our producers from the food industry. In cooperation with “Spar” and “Reve” groups, we have already put some of our food products in their stores and this is a concrete result of cooperation. “, Filipović pointed out.
He added that it is planned to present wood types and furniture from Srpska, all with the aim of better placement of domestic products on the local market. Filipović called on businessmen to use all these opportunities and take the first step for a more successful performance in Austria.
Mladen Filipović pointed out that in addition to analyzing the market and connecting domestic with Austrian companies, the RS Representation helps companies from Srpska to present themselves as well as possible on the Internet.
“We are helping to translate into German and improve their website. In a way, we are a commercial department for our businessmen. ”, said Filipovic. Glas Srpske
