Porsche 928 restomod for half a million EUR

The company Nardone Automotive presented a restomod for the Porsche 928 with a carbon body, increased power and a huge price of 480,000 EUR for a copy from the special first series. The first deliveries are planned for 2024.

The model 928 S4 was used as a donor vehicle. The modified coupe retained the general appearance of the original, but received carbon panels with stylistic changes at the front end. The pop-up lights have been retained, but are now equipped with LED technology.

The car is fitted with 18-inch wheels instead of the original sixteen-inch wheels, but the design is similar. They are fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tires.

Power is still provided by the naturally aspirated V8 engine, but Nardone has increased the output to 400hp. Instead of the original five-speed manual transmission, a six-speed manual transmission with a limited-slip differential is installed here.

Other mechanical changes include new axles, active shock absorbers, improved brakes and adaptive electric power steering.

The cabin is upholstered in a combination of leather and Alcantara. The central console has a contrasting design with brushed aluminum elements and the classic Porsche multimedia system in the lower part. The instruments are retro-futuristic – the speedometer is digital, but it is distinctly pixelated.
