BROD – Cluster for development, increasing competitiveness in the rural sector and placement of agricultural products in the Doboj region “Poljoklast” managed to implement a number of planned activities that gave positive results in terms of assistance in promoting and marketing products of domestic producers, said the manager of “Poljoklast” Julijana Petrović.
She pointed out that the success of “Poljoklast” is that it registered on the EU platform, and in the coming period they plan to establish cooperation with clusters outside the Republika Srpska.
“We hope that our activities, along with the activities of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of the Republic of Srpska, will provide domestic farmers with exports to EU countries, “said Petrovic in Brod at the annual Assembly of the cluster Poljoklast“, On which the report on work and implemented activities, as well as the financial report were adopted.
The President of the Assembly of “Poljoklast”, Vid Rakić, pointed out that since its establishment in 2019, until today, the planned activities have been realized, but he also pointed out that a good platform has been made for the realization of a number of projects in the coming period.
Field consultant for the Doboj region, Sladjana Berić Tovirac, pointed out that one of the activities in the coming period is the establishment of a cooperative and added that there are a large number of agricultural associations in this region.
She stated that agricultural associations are non-profit organizations that cannot complete their business on their own, while cooperatives represent a more advanced level of producer organization and are able to independently organize production and invoice services.
The first annual Assembly of “Poljoklast”, in addition to the hosts and representatives of the municipal administration, was attended by representatives of cities, municipalities and associations from Derventa, Doboj, Stanari, Modriča, Pelagićevo and Donji Žabar.
