North Zealand Police have arrested and charged a 41-year-old man for a shooting on January 2 in Hillerød, where a 38-year-old man was killed and another man injured.
It informs the police on Twitter on Thursday afternoon. The detainee is connected to the rocker and band environment.
Police say it has no further information on the case. But the police have previously stated that the shooting is believed to have happened at Rønbjerg Allé 2 in Hillerød on 2 January in the evening.
After the shooting, four men arrived in a bullet-hole car at 7 pm at Nordsjællands Hospital in Hillerød. Two of them had been shot. One – a 38-year-old man – passed away.
Police believe the shooting happened in the gang environment. The three survivors from the car have not been particularly communicative.
“The rocker and band environment has never had a reputation for being particularly communicative. In principle, they do not really want to talk to us, «Police Commissioner Henrik Gunst from North Zealand Police has previously stated.
The other man in the car who was shot is a 21-year-old man. He was on the operating table at North Zealand Hospital after the shooting, and his condition was not reported critically.
Many relatives and others showed up at the hospital Jan. 2 after the shooting, and at least ten were arrested. However, they were all released again, and until the arrest of the 41-year-old, the police had no arrests in the case.
Henrik Gunst has previously refused to say which gangs, according to the police, have been involved in the shooting.
According to Ekstra Bladet’s information from sources in the environment, however, the 38-year-old killed was previously related to the rock club Bandidos and has later been linked to the criminal street gang NNV.
In addition, the police stormed Bandidos’ clubhouse on Industrivænget in Hillerød after the shooting.
