PipsChips&Videoclips present the new single “Paris”

PipsChips&Videoclips present a new song “Paris”, the first and announcement single from the upcoming album “Vesna”.

“”Paris” is basically a love song, and along the way it also touches on key, well-known questions that require specific answers. That’s why, without shying away from responsibility, I also offered some solutions that, I hope, can be of use to you if you find yourself in a specific mess in a specific Paris.” says Dubravko Ivaniš.

He writes the music and lyrics for “Paris”. Dubravko Ivaniš, produced by Ivan Božanić, mixed by Pavao Miholjević and Jurica Ferina, while Nikolina Ivezić was responsible for the artwork of the cover. The accompanying video is directed by Rino Barbir, an award-winning director from Split with an address in Zagreb, known for a series of videos for Vojko V, winner of the Porin for the best video clip “Ne može” and the ZFF award for the short film “Druker”. The main roles in the video are played by Hrvojka Begović from ZKM and Damir Klemenić from Performinunit, theaters Mala scena and Trešnja, and a former member of Montažstroj.

“Rino killed it with the video. Again, it’s different from everything he’s done, it never repeats itself, and yet it’s him, it’s his signature. The complex of male-female relationships, that leftover eros and tragedy at the same time, is brutally portrayed. But without pathos, because the song is a joke”explains Ivaniš.

“Paris” is the first single from “Vesna”, the new album by Pips scheduled for early autumn this year under the auspices of LAA. The announcement single is available on all streaming services.
