In a separate bowl, mix the flour and salt, then add the wet ingredients and mix everything, then add 200 g of butter and knead the dough. Knead the dough on the work surface until it becomes smooth, then put it in a clean bowl, cover it with plastic wrap and leave it at room temperature for an hour.


Pour the rest of the sugar into a bowl, add the chopped chocolate and mix everything, add 150 g of diced butter, stir and set aside.

Grease the baking tray well and line it with greaseproof paper, mix the dough and let it rest for another five minutes. Cut the dough into three equal parts and roll each into a square measuring approximately 35 × 35 centimeters and 0.5 cm thick.


Coat the ends of the dough with the egg you previously whipped, sprinkle with a third of the chocolate, butter and sugar, wrap in a roll.


After that, twist the roll 5-6 times as if squeezing laundry. Coat the roll with egg and sprinkle with crumbs made of butter, sugar and flour.


Place all the loaves on a baking sheet, cover and leave in a warm place for 20-30 minutes


Bake the loaves in an oven preheated to 160 C for 55 minutes, and it may be necessary for 10-20 minutes longer. When the strudels are baked, take them out on the cooling wire to cool completely, then cut and serve.
