“Paku Tanah Jawa is a true story in Magelang. It was trending on Twitter but never made it to the big screen,” said Dato Kk Chua, producer of Armani Entertainment, in a statement received by Suara.com.
Seeing the script, Armani Entertainment agreed to work on this film together with an Indonesian production house, Loop Entertainment. While the director chair was entrusted by Bambang Drias.

“This is about a character who is looking for pesugihan for compassion, because what is relevant to the story now is a pelakor. Because so far his mother has been bullied as a pelakor too, she is looking for pesugihan in the same cave as Nyi Blorong,” said Bambang Drias.
“The research was several years ago, on Mount Tidar, it was trending on Twitter,” he said, Drias continued.
As for the cast, it will be starred by Malaysian and Indonesian actors. “There are Malaysian artists, there are two. We are also management artists, there are Malaysian rappers MQ and Hasif Hufin,” added Zeileen Yusnita, another producer.
Interestingly, Bambang Drias leaked that there will be a bold scene in this film. “There will be some bold scenes because you will explore the affair,” said Bambang Drias.
