Persil and Miele set up laundry and drying areas in the earthquake zone

The social solidarity mobilization, which was initiated after the earthquake disaster that caused great destruction in 11 provinces of our country, continues at full speed in line with the needs in the region. In order to heal the wounds of the earthquake and to provide support to the region, Persil and Miele brands signed a joint project to create solutions for the increasing hygiene needs of earthquake victims. Within the scope of the project realized with the idea of ​​“Persil and Miele by Your Side”; Laundry and drying areas were established in 8 locations in Hatay, Kahramanmaraş, Gaziantep and Adıyaman.

55 washing machines delivered

Every day, a new one is added to the support activities for our provinces affected by the earthquake disaster. Big companies and brands that act with the principle of corporate citizenship also stand by the people of the region with new projects. Laundry detergent brand Persil and white goods brand Miele are among the brands that support the region. These two brands came together in the “Persil and Miele Next to You” project they developed and established laundry and drying areas for the use of earthquake-affected citizens in container cities and tent cities located in 8 regions in the provinces of Hatay, Kahramanmaraş, Gaziantep and Adıyaman. Within the scope of the project, Persil brand delivered 15 tons of laundry detergent to the region, while Miele delivered 55 washing machines and 55 dryers. With the support of the teams in the region, earthquake victims started to meet their hygiene needs by washing and drying their clothes in these areas.
