Pedro, witness of the attack on Francis Montesinos: “I was terribly scared, I thought they were killing him”

The designer Francis Montesinos He was released with the obligation to appear before a judge after being arrested for an alleged crime of sexual assault on a minor. Waiting for the case to progress It is being investigated whether the designer could have been the victim of economic extortion.

On October 10, 2022 the designer was next to Pedroa friend, at home, when two hooded men broke into his house and they beat him to demand an amount of money, threatening to spread the video of sexual content that would compromise Montesinos.

‘Fiesta’ has spoken live with Pedro, witness of everything that happened the day that both he and Montesinos were victims of the attack. According to Pedro, what he tried to do was convince the assailants that he was alone in the house, but he explains that they did not believe him.

”It was around ten to five in the afternoon, we had eaten, on a Sunday afternoon (…) These guys show up unexpectedly, I find myself with two very sharp spikes about ten or fifteen centimeters from the neck, from the chest ( …) At that moment, the first thing I went into was shock, that is, I don’t know what is happening, of course I jumped out of the chair.”

Pedro has described that the assailants were two men, a very tall one of six feet three who was the only one who spoke. The other man was, as he indicated, “much smaller” and with a “much darker” complexion.

Emma García wanted to know what the hooded men told her: ”They always ask me about Francis, they want to find out after telling them that I was a guest, who was in the house”. Pedro has indicated that before going to see if there was anyone else, the hooded men forced him to tie his hands, something to which he refused.

“Obviously I know what they are coming for, Francis told me the night before about the extortion situation to which he is being subjected, but in no way do we expect an attack like this,” Pedro confirms that he already had suspicions as to why the assailants were there.

The witness to the attack has explained how he managed to deceive the assailants: ”I convince them that there is no one there because there are no cars, there is no one outside and the house is all turned off (…) We went inside, I let myself be handcuffed, they assured me: ‘Hey, don’t worry if you don’t give us problems We have nothing against you. We went into the house to see if it’s true that it’s empty.”

Pedro has explained that there was a detail that “pissed him off a bit,” according to what he says, the assailants were the ones who led him through the house and he explains that they they knew the way correctlywithout hesitation at any time.

”When they turn to leave, the older man thinks twice and goes upstairs and then looks out the door to see if he sees anything and actually sees Francis sleeping in bed. There this man gets very angry, he doesn’t say anything to me, but he looks at me with eyes… ”, Pedro explains about the moment the assailant realized that Francis was in the room.

The designer’s friend has explained how the beating happened: ”He unleashes all his anger against the iron door and in two kicks he loads an enormous iron fence and went straight for Francis, it’s that he didn’t go to shout at him or threaten him or anything, he directly hit him with a stick, no shovels, that was a huge stake. There I was very scared because I really thought that they were killing Francis and me for not leaving witnesses”.

Pedro has explained that after the beating, they tried to take money and asked the designer for the gold. He has indicated that when it is time to leave, he had to convince Francis to allow himself to be tied up because “if not, they wouldn’t leave.”
