Peti Palanački Danube Fest (PDF) will be held on September 10 in Bačka Palanka u in the courtyard of the Bačka Palanka City Museum. This year, the festival will last only one day and will feature: Furies, Enemy crosses the rabbit, Sanitarium i Osmi and.

Furies are a rock group from Gornji Milanovac. From the very beginning, they attracted attention with an unusual line-up with two singers, carefully thought-out performances, recognizable and personal lyrics, as well as a musical background in the framework of the Grunge musical rock direction, of which the Serbian Bjesov were a natural part, both generationally and conceptually, in those early nineties. The line-up mostly changed according to the needs and ideas of the duo who founded the group: Zoran Marinković and Goran Marić. The current lineup consists of: Zoran Marinković (vocals), Slobodan Vuković (guitar), Ivan Kovačević (guitar), Marko Marković (bass), Miroslav Marjanović (drums), Ramon Hamel (drums). Bjesovi have released 6 albums to date, and the group’s biggest success was their second (untitled) album. This year, the group celebrates the 25th anniversary of that release. In 2019, they released their first vinyl “Everything I See and Everything I Know” for the publishing house Metropolis, while at the end of 2021, SKC Novi Sad released a physical edition of the album “Svetla, Svetlosti”.

Novi Sad band The enemy crosses the rabbit this year celebrates 10 years of existence, and recently released the fourth album “Blood, tears, noise”. The first official album “Vreme je” was released in 2015 in digital format by Nocturne media, which was preceded by a live demo called “Bolje nedeljom”, alluding to the fact that the band initially functioned only on Sundays. After the release of the second album “S naše strane ulice” in 2017, the band presents itself to the region in Croatia, Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. With the singles “Sud”, “Aleksandar” and “Born Here” they reached the top of both the official and unofficial charts, and the wind at their back gave them the first sold-out concert held in their hometown. The proof that productivity during the promotional tour for Zekam is not a problem is the fact that already in 2019 they recorded and released “The problem is in people”. They round off a decade of work with the album “Blood, tears and noise”, which describes their essence as a band. The main advantage of the band is the concerts, and considering the energy they show at them, an official live album was imposed as a logical solution. The band members are: Zoran Gagić (vocals), Oliver Popovski (guitar), Stefan Pajević (guitar), Davorin Vrhovac (bass) and Miroslav Crveni (drums).

Sanitarium is a metal band from Belgrade founded in 2016. The members of the band are: Žile, Narke, Paja, Vik, Peca. What defines Sanitarium is the abnormal amount of energy they leave on stage and contact with the audience. They come on stage dressed in costumes, with their alter-ego characters where everyone has their own role. They are the winners of many festivals, among which stand out: 6th Bunt Rock Festival, Zaječarska Gitarijada, Rockerijada, Bass Player Festival, Majska Gitarijada, Mobil Music Fest… and many others.

Osmi and is a cover band from Novi Sad that is well known to the palanquin audience. The band is recognizable for performing a mix of songs that belong to a harder sound with hits from the eighties, nineties and 2000s. They also perform as The Prodigy Tribute band, and their set list includes several songs from this band along with Rammstein, Muse, Iron Maiden, RATM, Depeche Mode and others. What is characteristic of them is that it is impossible to stand still during their performance.

More information on ticket prices and sales points will be announced in the coming days. The organization of the festival was supported by the Municipality of Bačka Palanka and the Cultural Center of Bačka Palanka Rock Culture Association.
