Walls that are no longer borders, but doors to other worlds: with the Rooms collection Patricia Urquiola defines wallpapers with domestic scenes and patterns made up of mini-furnishing accessories that are an interpretation dreamlike and surreal of everyday life. Produced by CO.DE by Jannelli & Volpi are designed to playfully amplify environments, without being intrusive. The perspective lines run continuously through all the walls, increasing the depth of the space.


The drawings reflect on the evolution of the home landscape and on the visceral relationship that each develops with their home. With an effect mise-en-abymeartistic device in which an image contains a small copy of itself, i wallpaper Rooms reproduce snapshots of reality with a simple style, between naive and pop. Each room is designed to be in dialogue with the others, in an ideal path that winds through the different areas of the house.

Various catalogs housing subjects – window, table with still life made up of vases of different shapes and sizes, curtain, set up bookcase. The collection also includes a lush greenhouse-garden populated with exotic and imaginative plants; looking up at the ceiling, the design becomes a skylight on the sky, illuminated by the sun’s rays.
