Patio time

If you’re one of those people in your group of friends who always remembers that it’s best to stay in a ventilated area – while someone else accuses you of exaggerating – you should know that this article is for you. . Because there are all sorts of people who are brainwashed looking for “somewhere with a terrace that is good”, and there are many places with terraces, but not all of them are pleasant or quiet. Have you thought about looking for a patio? They are the ventilated and quiet alternative. Here are a few.

The first option is the Coffee Fragments. In case the Plaza de la Concordia, in Les Corts, wasn’t pretty enough, this restaurant has a lovely courtyard behind it. It is an especially romantic place if you go out to dinner and – beware of cold people – they have stoves and blankets. The food is good and its bravado is spectacular.

The second place I suggest is suitable for all budgets and one of the best Mexicans in Barcelona: the Do you know something. It is an authentic restaurant, well priced and has a lovely patio. They don’t make watermarks, but everything you eat is well made and genuine. I’ve brought almost all my friends and everyone is happy. You will find it in the Gràcia district of Barcelona.

In fact, without having to move much, we jump to the next courtyard, which is only a few meters away, the Fonda Pepa. It’s a slightly more sophisticated food house. They make fork breakfasts, have a Josper oven and excellent wines. The dishes they make are delicious and often amazing. Its flame will round out the experience. It’s a place to share, so you can try more. Perfect for going to the classic couples dinner. They return from vacation on Tuesday 4.

We now go to the Poble-sec to visit the Short Stick, which is inside the Brummel Hotel. In general, I’m not a big fan of restaurants in hotels, because they tend to be the right projects but with less soul than a restaurant. But this case is different and that’s why I recommend it. Besides, if you go out to dinner, they have a lovely cocktail bar in the background to spend the night. Ideal for dinner + gin and tonic supporters. The courtyard has an exquisite decoration and, in addition, it has a kind of awnings that make it perfectly operational even if it rains. The only downside is that they return on holiday on January 13th, ideal for those who are planning and for postponed meals (we all have a pile of them).

And finally, a more informal place but with a lot of personality: theErioca Caffè, in the Eixample. Cycling enthusiasts probably already know this little gem that is dedicated to articulating all the activities related to this sport. But you don’t have to be interested in the Tour to enjoy this place. The menu is purely Italian: salads, pasta, carpaccios, pizza, focaccia … And the coffee is excellent. Ideal to enjoy in your yard between plants and especially away from the omicron.
