In 2020, MonsterLabo pleasantly surprised us with a very interesting housing, The Beast. This is a housing that offers the possibility of passive or silent cooling of powerful machine components. This is not surprising, as it is equipped with two huge cooling elements weighing as much as three kilograms, 20 heat pipes and an aluminum housing 6 millimeters thick.
Recently, however, MonsterLabo unveiled another version of the interesting The Beast (v2) case. This primarily brings compatibility with newer hardware components, especially when it comes to graphics cards. A recent test of the new computer case The Beast showed that the novelty can easily cope with the powerful Intel Core i9-11900K processor and GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card.
With the new case, the cooling system for graphics cards proved to be especially effective. This was prepared in cooperation with the Slovenian company EKWB. The new cooling system can actually easily dissipate excess heat for the graphics card, which produces more than 220 watts of heat output during operation.
The MonsterLabo The Beast (v2) computer case is otherwise compatible with motherboards up to ATX format (up to 290 millimeters in length) and supports Intel LGA115x / 1200 and LGA 2066 processor sockets and AMD AM3 / 3 + / 4, TR4 and sTRX4. In all likelihood, the novelty will also be supported by the LGA 1700 sockets, which will be equipped with the new Intel Alder Lake processors, which will be available on November 4.
MonsterLabo is raising money for the start of production of the very interesting computer case The Beast (v2) on the online platform IndieGoGo, on the web link https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/the-beast-the-ultimate-fanless-pc#/. The novelty, of course, is not cheap. For the cheapest version of the innovative housing, 790 euros must be deducted, while the most expensive version is valued at a staggering 6,500 euros.
