OSCE Chairman Linde to discuss the situation around Ukraine with the US authorities

Ann Linde, Chairman of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), Swedish Foreign Minister, will discuss with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken the situation around Ukraine and Russia’s actions towards it on January 5-8. This was reported in a statement by the government office.

“Bilateral cooperation with them (USA – RT) and cooperation through the European Union is necessary … to maintain the European security system, ”she said.

According to TASS, Linde will also discuss climate and security issues.

In addition, the participants in the meeting will talk about democracy, human rights and the principles of the rule of law in the world.

Earlier, Blinken and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg discussed the situation in Ukraine and declared the alliance’s readiness for a constructive dialogue with Russia.
