The cost of products for making Olivier salad for a family of four this year has increased by 15%, follows from the data of the study “Chek Index”, the results of which were published by “RIA Novosti”.

Potatoes rose in price more than other ingredients – by 49%. The price of carrots increased by 35%, eggs – by 25%, mayonnaise – by 16%. Pickles, green peas and onions also rose in price. The price decreased only for boiled sausage – it became 1% cheaper.

According to the research, food for Olivier for a family of 4 will cost 462 rubles, which is 62 rubles more than it would have been necessary to spend last year. The Olivier Index has thus grown by 15% over the year.

On the eve of Rosstat published preliminary data on annual inflation in Russia. It has become the maximum over the past 6 years and amounted to 8.39%.
