The sociological study was conducted in the context of the launch of the National Vaccination Caravan #OAMENICAMINE.

Remus Ștefureac, director of INSCOP Research stated: “The data suggest that between 30% and 40% of the unvaccinated population can be persuaded to be vaccinated with reasonable efforts. Additional, administrative, logistical and communication actions could be persuaded to vaccinate other more skeptical categories of the unvaccinated population. With the exception of a radical anti-vaccination segment of approximately 20% -25% of the unvaccinated population, the remaining three quarters of Romanians who have not been vaccinated do not have a dogmatic hostile attitude towards vaccination. However, the explanation of their circumspect attitude is related to a personal assessment, either objective or influenced by misinformation, of their own health risks or due to the impression that they do not have enough credible information about the vaccine. However, the perception of vulnerability to Covid-19 is at a high level, which is stronger when it comes to assessing the risk to oneself than the impact of the epidemic on society.
