One person died in a hard landing of a helicopter in the Rostov region

As a result of a hard landing of the Mi-2 helicopter in the Rostov region, a person died, another was injured. This was reported to RG in the Moscow Interregional Investigation Department for Transport of the IC of Russia.

The plane, irrigating rice fields in the Salsky district, was forced to land, according to preliminary data, due to engine failure. This happened in the area of ​​the village of Kirsalovo in the morning at the beginning of the sixth. On board the Mi-2 were two people, one of whom died.

According to TASS, citing a source in the operational services of the region, the flight engineer of the aircraft died. Helicopter pilot hospitalized. He was diagnosed with a broken leg, bruises and abrasions.

An on-site investigation team of the Moscow Interregional Investigation Department for Transport of the RF IC is working, which establishes all the circumstances of what happened. A pre-investigation check is being conducted, based on which the issue of initiating a criminal case will be resolved.

The Southern Transport Prosecutor’s Office is also conducting an emergency check. Supervisory authorities will find out whether safety standards were followed when organizing a flight.
