Through this project, it was prepared to make digital payment without internet. According to the Reserve Bank, now internet will not be required for digital payment up to Rs 200. Payment through this project can be done only face-to-face. In order to promote small digital transactions in offline mode, RBI has collaborated with some bodies. It was tested from September 2020 to July 2021. After this, on August 6, the Reserve Bank had approved the pilot scheme related to it.


Transfer money without internet
Through this project of RBI, you will be able to do money transactions without internet. There will be no need for internet or telecom collectivity for offline payment. According to the RBI, the Authorized Payment System Operators (PSOs) and Payment System Participants (PSPs) will have to follow the new guidelines for adopting such offline digital payments. RBI said that a maximum amount of Rs 2000 can be paid in this way at a time. Once the limit is over, it can be increased through online.
