Turkey’s tourism centers will connect Antalya and Izmir highway project to tender the construction of the 163-kilometer highway foot Aydın and Denizli offer came from six firms.
According to the statement made by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, the tender for the Aydın-Denizli Motorway, which is the second phase of the motorway that will provide uninterrupted transportation from Izmir to Antalya, was held today.
6 companies submitted bids for the tender at the General Directorate of Highways. The 163 km long highway, which will be 140 kilometers of highway and 23 kilometers of connection road, will start from the existing Aydın Ring Road Highway Junction Intersection and reach Yenipazar via Dalaman. The highway that will continue in the direction of Çeltikçi-Korucuk-Kocadere will end at the Kocabaş location.
Highway construction will be completed within 3 years after the tender is concluded, and travel time between 2 cities will decrease to 1 hour when completed. The highway project will be implemented with the build-operate-transfer model.
With the completion of the offer and detailed studies, the company, which made the lowest offer with a discount on the toll, will be invited to the contract after its technical competence is examined.
If the highway is finished and put into operation before 3 years, this increased time from construction will be added to the end of the operation period. No warranty payment will be made for this period added to the end of the operating period.
