These days, 67 local governments that entered the first round of subsidizing citizens to improve energy efficiency with the state, will announce competitions for companies that produce and install carpentry, insulation and heating boilers.
Citizens will be paid half of the costs for some of those investments they will ask for. When the local self-governments make a list of the most favorable bidders, the citizens will choose one and respond to the public invitation of the municipality or city, which will be announced in August.
Based on that application, the household pays money to the selected company for the works, and the subsidies, which is half of those investment funds, will be paid to them, when the local commission goes out on the field and checks the work done. Citizens are already visiting the sales facilities.
Head of the company’s retail Temple 032 in Belgrade, Petar Tutić says that the interest of citizens is very high. He states that he is mainly interested in energy efficient openings, ie carpentry. The price no longer takes precedence, people are focusing on better quality carpentry and they want to buy it, he added.
It is difficult to make an accurate calculation because the offer is large, and the prices are varied, but rough estimates from the market show: for an average residential building of 60 square meters, the installation of complete carpentry costs from 1,000 to 2,000 euros, depending on whether the doors and windows are PVC. is a cheaper variant, or more expensive than aluminum.
Architect u chip– Gordana Vasiljević points out that PVC windows, which are most often used in our country, achieve very good results.
– You will not go wrong if you buy a PVC window with adequate glass. The method of installation is especially important. It will be just as good in protection from both heat and cold as an aluminum window – Vasiljevic emphasizes.
About 1,200 euros should be set aside for the facade insulation of a house of the same size. A square of thermal wrap costs between 15 and 28 euros, depending on whether it is styrofoam or rock wool. It is recommended that the thickness of the insulation be from 10 to 12 centimeters.
– Most often in projects for thermal insulation of walls and roofs we use mineral wool and its thickness depends on the outside temperature, the climate zone in which the building is located – explains Svetlana Karanović, director Institute of Architecture and Urbanism – CIP.
As he points out, styrofoam is used for buildings of smaller floors – individual family houses.
For the same area of living space, who already has radiators, and wants to change heating boilers to cleaner energy, their price with installation costs from 80,000 to 160,000 dinars.
The same conditions apply to those who live in buildings, with the proviso that they need the consent of half of the tenants to replace the boilers and insulation. If they only change the carpentry, they do not need that consent.
