NVIDIA should really get the old RTX 2060 on the market

Yesterday, however, we learned that at least the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti is returning, which can already be considered game graphics with a gnashing of teeth. With regard to prices around CZK 4,500, we could normally just smile at them, but currently this is the only way to get to the new game graphics in stores, which is immediately available.

Or, of course, we have the opportunity to regularly monitor the offer of shops to see if we can accidentally capture one of the new cards, but this was already a good opportunity and this chance has been declining ever since.

The GeForce GTX 1050 Ti has already returned to the market, but the Overclocking.com server previously reported the return of the GeForce RTX 2060 and they have not yet arrived, so we could have thought that this was wrong information. According to Tom’s Hardware but this is still the case, or rather it is a server message PCWorld, which should have been confirmed by NVIDIA itself.

In response to a direct question about the return of older models, an NVIDIA representative replied that the production of the products in question had still not been officially discontinued (EoL), so that talking about their recovery was technically incorrect. However, yes, some older GeForce will be available again, and the fact that NVIDIA and PCWorld directly talked about the RTX 2060 model can be expected to return to the market soon.

Now we can only wait for what price such cards will be available. They are not currently in stock, but we will not naively assume that prices will be favorable. Rather, it is possible to count on amounts over ten thousand crowns, ie the customer will probably buy an old Turing for a price that he would normally give, for example, for the RTX 3060 Ti. So far, only a few RTX 2060 cards are available on Newegg, at prices of around $ 800, which is probably not a threat here. But the prices will not be low and the big question is availability, as it is imaginable that miners may be very interested in the old RTX 2060.
