Nvidia releases stocks of older graphics cards

Nvidia wants to sell older graphics cards to meet demand.

There is currently a global crisis (but now I do not mean the crown crisis), but for players this is probably even worse, because there is currently a lack of new graphics cards from the Nvidia RTX 30 series. The new board was introduced last year, along with rival AMD Radeon RX 6000. The shortcomings are due to slower production processes and high customer demand, which was eventually exploited by merchants who sell both new and old graphics cards with a large margin. Add to that cryptocurrency farms, and it’s almost impossible to buy a new graphics card.

Nvidia has therefore decided to release stocks of older GTX 1050 Ti and RTX 2060 graphics cards. A Nvidia spokesman said that in this case, the “recovery” in sales of these cards is unfortunate. The life of these graphics cards has not yet been completed and he also described this step as “tides”, as the company is trying to meet the current demand in the market, which is currently very high.

This is quite an interesting step that Nvidia has taken, but it will probably satisfy only a very small percentage of the market. The biggest demand is for a new line of graphics cards, which are: RTX 3060, RTX 3060 Ti, RTX 3070, RTX 3080 and the most powerful RTX 3090. The manufacturer also announced the production of a card called GTX 1010, based on Pascal technology from 2016. In in this case, the GP108 chipset is used, which is similar to that found in the GT 1030 and MX series for laptops.
