Even before the covid-19 pandemic created chaos in the business world, also affecting media groups, some organizations in the sector asked the Government for a package of measures to support the media. The advance purchase of advertising, worth €15 million, was one of the responses given by the Government, but the expectation that there would be other measures never materialized.
