‘Samsung no longer releases Galaxy S22 FE’
According to Sammobile Samsung will not come with a Galaxy S22 FE this year. They learn this from ‘several sources’. There is even a good chance that there will be no more FE models at all in the future. With this, Samsung would ‘only’ have released such a device twice: the S20 FE and S21 FE. With the previous Fan Edition phones, many rumors, leaks and renders came out well before announcement. Now, almost four months after the release of the S22, there is still no trace of the Galaxy S22 FE. There were rumors about the chip of the S22 FE, but they now seem less likely. In addition, Sammobile went in search of any traces that indicate the existence of the S22 FE.

Videoland launches brand new app: you need to know this
Videoland will inform users of the new app via email. Instead of adjusting the current app, ‘Videoland V2’ can now be found in the Play Store. It is unknown why the decision was made to launch a new app instead of an update. Android Planet has asked that question to RTL, but has not yet received an answer. The email states that the old Videoland app can no longer be used once you have been transferred. Videoland V2 has a fresh look and also offers several new navigation elements. Videoland also warns that various functions of the first version of the app are not yet available in the new version.

This is the Motorola Moto G42: brand new budget phone for 209 euros
The Moto G42 is Motorola’s latest budget smartphone and the successor to the Moto G41. The phone is start of July available in the Netherlands and has a suggested retail price of 209 euro† You then get the entry-level model with 64GB storage, which is a bit scanty in 2022. Fortunately, Motorola is also releasing a 128GB version for 229 euro† The new Moto G52 resembles the Moto G52 in many ways, which has recently been for sale in the Netherlands. For example, the device also has an OLED screen, which provides beautiful images. OLED makes colors brighter, black is really black and the screen is more energy efficient. The display is 6.4 inches and therefore not particularly large, but not small either.

Dangerous Emotet malware preys on Chrome users’ credit cards
Emotet is back. This time, the dangerous malware virus is targeting Google Chrome users’ credit card information. Emotet is distributed via emails. The malware’s creators massively send emails to potential victims containing attached documents. Victims are encouraged to access these documents. Once this happens, Emotet will install itself. The malware then also tries to infect other devices in the network, such as a (other) smartphone, tablet or computer. This scam method is known as phishing. Criminals send e-mails, WhatsApp messages or text messages to victims containing an attachment or a link to a fake website.
