Suara.com – Every hospital is required to accredit its health services. In fact, this is also regulated in Health Law Number 44 of 2009 Article 40 paragraph (1).
The regulation states that in an effort to improve the quality of hospital services, accreditation must be carried out periodically at least once every 3 (three) years, so hospitals have an obligation to follow the latest evidence based practice for patient safety.
Therefore, Premier Bintaro Hospital also routinely conducts accreditation. In fact, the hospital has just received accreditation from the Joint Commission International (JCI) from March 18 2023 to March 17 2025. This is the fifth time this hospital has won accreditation from a leading accreditation agency for the international scale healthcare sector.
“Accreditation is an important element for hospitals to describe the quality of services provided to patients. Quality is a never ending journey,” said CEO of Premier Bintaro Hospital, dr. Martha ML Siahaan, MARS, MH. Kes, in a recent statement.

Premier Bintaro Hospital itself is one of 23 hospitals in Indonesia that have succeeded in achieving JCI accreditation in 2023.
“The national and international accreditations that we have achieved show the hospital’s commitment to prioritizing patient safety in their services. Apart from JCI accreditation, we also carry out national accreditation (KARS), ISO, and HICMR. All of these accreditations are expected to help Premier Bintaro Hospital to always meet the needs of stakeholders and provide the best service in accordance with the latest evidence-based practice.
Dr. Hartono Tanto as Interim Country COO of Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care Indonesia (RSDHI) explained that this was not only to complete the obligation to carry out the regulations set by the government of the Republic of Indonesia, but also to ensure that the quality of services provided by hospitals increased. we are well maintained and focus on patient safety.”
