After the announced April concerts in Nis and Sarajevo, which were canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, heavy stoner rock band, Northern Revival from Novi Sad, continues his dynamic musical journey. A new date has been scheduled for Sarajevo, while the audience in Niš will make up for what they missed only during the summer or autumn.
In the meantime, this musical group got a new companion, and now, instead of Željko Krstanović, he is behind the drums Young Seničar, a founding member of the original lineup of Northern Revival since 2012. Mladen is also a member of the funk/hip-hop band MadB, and until recently he was part of the lineup of the stoner/hard rock group Monolith.
Northern Revival continues with the promotion of the current album „Modification“ released on September 9, 2022 for Geenger records, and at the same time the upcoming performances mark the band’s tenth anniversary.
The first performance of the refreshed line-up of Northern Revival will take place on Friday, May 12, 2023 at Jugospeda (BG) where they will share the stage with the most relevant representatives of Serbian stoner and sludge metal (and fusion of related genres), namely ZERO, Cardinal Point and Stvor. The concert is scheduled for 10 p.m., and tickets can be purchased at the door of the club at a price of 500 dinars.
