Nordic Telecom has new tariffs on optics and DSL. It will add free Terminator to DSL tariffs, including installation

Nordic Telecom has introduced new fixed Internet tariffs called Nordic Plus with a speed of up to one Gigabit per second. From April, customers will find a total of four DSL or optics tariffs (Nordic Plus 20, 50, 100 and 250) and two more optics only (Nordic Plus 500 and 1000) under the Nordic Plus label. In addition to all new DSL tariffs, Nordic is the only operator to offer a so-called Terminator (specially tuned modem), which increases the stability and quality of the connection and is also compatible with any commonly available home wifi router. In addition, for all Nordic Plus tariffs, activation for new customers is free, ie without any installation fees.

Thanks to the partnership with CETIN, another 130,000 households with optics availability are added to the 50,000 households to which Nordic Telecom makes the Internet available via optics using its own technologies. The high-speed optical connection from Nordic is currently currently available for a total of 180,000 Czech households. A novelty in the offer is the optical connection with the Nordic Plus 500 (500 Mb / s) and Nordic Plus 1000 (1 Gb / s) tariffs, which the operator offers nationwide and permanently at unbeatable prices:

  • Nordic Plus 500 za 445 CZK
  • Nordic Plus 1000 za 495 CZK

As part of the Nordic Plus DSL tariffs, Nordic Telecom is the only Czech operator to offer a special modem to all new customers Terminator, completely free of charge, including activation. Therefore, customers no longer have to buy or rent any expensive modem for Nordic DSL tariffs, they just need any WiFi router, such as their existing equipment. With the new tariff, no additional installation fees apply. Other benefits of “Terminator” include improved connection quality, easier troubleshooting and prevention, or online access to all device updates. In addition, Terminator can double the available connection speed on some DSL connections thanks to bonding technology.

In addition to Nordic Plus tariffs, the operator also provides other tariffs with a speed of up to 250 Mb / s, which mainly indicate wireless technologies such as WiFi or Nordic’s own network in the 3.7 GHz band, which covers approximately one third of the Czech population and offers a reliable air connection .

By default, the operator allows online orders of the fixed Internet via self-service on his web. After verifying the specific address, the customer will find out all available tariffs, including prices.

Nordic Telecom is a telecommunications operator with its own network in the 3.7 GHz band and serves more than one hundred thousand customers across the group. In June 2017, it succeeded in the auction of the 3.7 GHz band and acquired 80 MHz of this spectrum. It builds on it and is the first to launch a modern 5G ready network, which offers a fixed high-speed air connection available to more than a third of the Czech population. In November 2020, Nordic Telecom expanded its frequency allocation by another 20 MHz of spectrum in the 3.5 GHz band auction. In addition to offering tariffs on DSL technology since April 2022, Nordic Telecom also includes optical tariffs on the CETIN network in its portfolio. Through partner networks, Nordic Telecom also operates as a virtual mobile operator offering mobile voice and data services.
