General Manager of PT PAS, Avan Tjen, said the presence of this new type of helmet was to complement the Nolan product range that has been marketed today.
“We are targeting the commuter market, which until now still dominates Nolan’s sales in Indonesia, reaching 85 percent,” said Avan, during the launch in the Menteng area, South Jakarta, Thursday (25/5).
Avan explained that the Nolan N30-4 series had been designed through years of research and was made to provide comfort, and is suitable for daily mobility.
This is thanks to the embedded Extreme Ventilation System (EVS) technology in all of these new types. According to Avan, this feature allows airflow to enter more freely into the inside of the helmet.
PT PAS Brand Representative, Deden Fauzi explained, the features on the back and sides of the helmet shell are intended for countries with tropical climates, such as Indonesia.
With this feature the rider does not need high speed to be able to circulate air or wind into the inside of the helmet. And this feature has been embedded in all types.
“That way you can just ride the motorbike at low or medium speed. What’s more, the Nolan N30-4 Series has been designed to be lighter, “explained Deden.
One of the reasons this helmet is much lighter than similar models from Nolan is thanks to the EVS technology, where the weight starts at 1,030 grams.
Another advantage is that this helmet with Lexan Polycarbonate material has passed ECE 22-06, P/J homologation (with or without chin guard) and also has the SNI logo on it.
ECE 22-06 is the latest homologation with 6 test points. Another advantage is that it attaches a microlock strap as a lock that can easily adjust the tightness.
The Nolan N30-4 Series is available in two shell sizes (foam inside), where for small shells the size is XXS – M, while the large shell is for sizes L to XXL.
Another feature is the embedded Clima Comfort Padding Interior with ECO Friendly Fabric, making the wearer comfortable while driving plus a Helmet Lock Ring.
“We offer the Nolan N30-4 series in 22 color choices, from solid to colorful. We sell it in the range of Rp. 3 million – Rp. 4 million and are available at Nolangroup dealers in Indonesia,” he said.
The four Nolan N30-4 series have their own differentiators. For the XP type, it is equipped with Chin Guard, Adjustable Peak, and Google Ready. For VP there is a Chin Guard and Large, or Ultra Wide Visor.
Meanwhile, the TP model is equipped with Chin Guard and Small Visor, or Google Visor. Finally, the T type has been equipped with a Small Visor or Google Visor.
PT PAS also provides additional coatings needed if the helmet owner drives in drizzling conditions. The material used is soft on the inside, so it doesn’t make a helmet beret.
