Noctua set up a GeForce RTX 3080 card from Asus this time

We recently learned directly from Noctua that its collaboration with Asus is not over, as its first result has clearly been well received by customers. Asus and Noctua can be expected to choose a novelty, after all, two powerful cards from NVIDIA (RTX 3090 Ti and RTX 3080 12GB) have recently entered the market, and AMD is also preparing its new products. In reality, however, these companies have reached for the classics.

The GeForce RTX 3080 Noctua Edition graphics card could appear soon, in a very similar design to the GeForce RTX 3070 Noctua Edition, but the pictures show that it is not the same heatsink that was just slapped on another card. The heatsink is different and the plastic superstructure covering the two fans has a different shape, however, even now it will be a huge card that will take up four slots in our computer.

The VideoCardz server managed to get photos, according to which we can see two fans with blades made of a material called Sterrox. Noctua developed it in order to be able to create more subtle blades, the ends of which are very close to the frame, which is possible due to the fact that the material used does not deform much over time due to centrifugal force.

Otherwise, we can simply expect a card with quality and strong cooling, which will be equipped with three DisplayPorts 1.4 and two HDMI 2.1.

However, Asus itself has not yet provided any information, so we do not learn anything about the beats, but the box shows us that it will not be a new 12GB version of the RTX 3080, but still the old 10GB. According to VideoCardz should cost about 1150 euros, which is 250 euros more than the model with RTX 3070.
