Noctua is a passive heatsink for NH-P1 processors

Company Noctua, known for its computer component cooling solutions, introduces a new passive heatsink for processors called NH-P1.

It is a completely new design that is adapted for operation without a fan. The heatsink is able to passively cool even the most powerful processors. For even better operating characteristics, it can also be equipped with a fan, e.g. new NF-A12x25 LS-PWM. It was introduced together with the cooler and it is an NF-A12x25, which, however, also has PWM regulation, LS indicates low speed. In this case, the cooler can operate in semi-passive operation, where the fans rotate only when necessary and are switched off at low load.

Roland Mossig of Noctua: “The NH-P1 is our first passive heatsink, and from that point of view it should be clear that we just didn’t miss a fan from the currently sold models.” -11900K at 3.6 GHz with Prime95 running.

The cooler offers the SecuFirm2 + assembly system, NT-H2 heat-conducting paste and a 6-year manufacturer’s warranty. The price is set at € 109.99 and the new NF-A12x25 LS-PWM fan received a price tag of € 29.99.
