“CO2 emissions from glass containers are 113 kg higher compared to plastic, based on regular delivery of one order per year,” explained Elementaree.

“Packaging made of paper and cardboard is a more expensive solution, its cost is on average 20% higher than that of plastic. (…) However, it has been proven that in the production and processing of a paper bag, several times more energy can be spent and one and a half times more harmful substances get into the atmosphere, ”Olga Zinovieva said to Founder Elementaree.

Currently, in Russia, at the legislative level, the introduction of a ban on the use of certain types of non-recyclable plastic waste is being discussed.
