No mechanics. Jantar Team riders have to deal with themselves – No mechanics. Jantar Team riders have to deal with it themselves

After a day off, the 742-kilometer-long stage from Hail to Sakaki took place, which was announced as marathon.

471 kilometers were measured. At her finish, a standard bivouac with accompanying teams and mechanics was not waiting for the competitors.

Riders are thus dependent on themselves and may only perform service work on motorcycles with the material they carried with them on the stage.

The stage was full of sand dunes in the first 100 kilometers and the organizer promised “a ride like on a swing”. The last part, on the other hand, was on fast roads and Pistache.

David Pabiška keeps pace and, as in the 6th stage, he still took 41st place today. In the overall ranking he improved by a place and is 37. In the ranking of Original by Motul he finished the stage in 5th place and the same place belongs to him in the overall ranking of the category.

“At the beginning I set the pace, I also got some advantage over the opponent and I did very well. But then we came to the dunes, which were softer than those from the previous days.

I made a few school mistakes in them and I fell twice. So I was mad at myself and the rest of the stage ran at the set pace. It didn’t go any further today because my hands and wrists hurt again. It will still be difficult, “said Pabiška.

The stage was successful for Rudolf Lhotský, who reached this year’s maximum, saw the first fifty in the stage for the first time and finished in 48th place and is in 49th place overall.

In Original by Motul, he returned to the TOP 10 thanks to the 7th stage and is in 9th position.

“It really suited me today. It was raining in the morning and so the beginning was on harder terrain. And then it went on all day. From the first to the last kilometer I went great, without problems. We are in a marathon bivouac, the bike is fine and tomorrow I will try to repeat the result.

After arriving, David and I helped Milan Engel with the service. He had a problem with the pump, so we figured out what to do with it. In the end, they managed to put it together temporarily, and maybe Milan will see the mechanics tomorrow, “said Lhotský.
