No coronavirus infected individuals were added to Lääne County

During the last day, 3495 coronavirus tests were analyzed in Estonia, of which 34 or 1% of the total number of primary positive tests were tested.

According to the population register, the most new positive test results were received in Harju County, where 16 people were diagnosed with coronavirus infection. Of the new cases of infection in Harju County, 11 are in Tallinn. 4 were added to Ida-Viru County, 3 to Viljandi County, 2 to Tartu County, 1 to Hiiumaa, Pärnu County and Võru County.

During the day, 4 new cases of COVID-19 were opened in hospitals, 34 patients in need of hospital treatment. The average age of patients in hospital is 66 years, and 24 of all patients in need of hospital treatment are over 60 years of age (70.6%). There were no new deaths during the day.

7646 doses of vaccine were administered during the day, a total of 551,011 people have been vaccinated and 415,741 people have completed the vaccination course. The coverage of at least one vaccine dose in patients over 70 years of age is 67.3%. More than 60% of the 70+ age group have been vaccinated in all counties, except Ida-Virumaa.
