Nissan is preparing a new small crossover for the Indian market

Nissan has released another teaser photo of the new compact crossover to be sold in the Indian market. The B-SUV will be built at Nissan’s local plant in India. It is expected to be named Nissan Magnite and will be presented on the 16th of the month.

Its length will be less than 4 meters and will be placed opposite the Ford EcoSport, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon and Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza. It will be based on the CMF-A platform and will be powered by a 1,000 cc turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine that will be mated to either a five-speed manual transmission or a CVT gearbox.

An atmospheric three-cylinder 1,000-horsepower 72-horsepower petrol engine is also available, combined with either a five-speed manual transmission or an automated manual transmission.
