Play regularly boasts of new base stations that improve the coverage and quality of the network. April is another month in which the operator managed to beat last year’s result.

According to official information, in April Play launched 58 new base stations. This is 8 more than in the same period last year. Thus, at the end of April, the total number of active stations was exactly 10,800.

Play network coverage can be improved by, among others: residents of large cities such as Białystok, Częstochowa, Kielce, Kraków, Opole, Radom, Szczecin, Warsaw and Wrocław.

Before the upcoming holidays, new stations were also launched in towns preparing for the influx of tourists. We are talking about Bukowina Tatrzańska, Serock on Lake Zegrzyński, Ustka and Ustronie Morskie.

Play also provided a list of nine towns that were only covered by LTE in April. These are:

• Karwiany (Żórawina, Lower Silesia);
• Mąkowarsko (Koronowo, Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship);
