New ROEQ products to increase load capacity and improve handling

Company ROEQ has introduced two new add – on modules and related accessories designed to increase the load capacity and improve the handling capabilities of AMR robots from Mobile Industrial Robots (MiR). While a new product ROEQ TMS-C1500 allows MiR robots to newly transport cargo weighing up to 1500 kg, module TML200 can efficiently lift loads with the MiR250.

The chronic shortage of employees and the enormous growth in demand in the online sales segment place high demands on warehousing, logistics and production facilities. In order for freight companies to meet the demands of growing volume and productivity, they need to make the most of their existing investments in automation.

By increasing the load capacity of AMR robots and enhancing load handling flexibility, these two new products from ROEQ provide businesses with the ability to achieve the required productivity and overcome current staffing needs without having to invest significantly in additional technologies.

ROEQ TMS-C1500 allows you to increase the load capacity of AMR

The new extension module enables the possibility of handling loads with a total weight of up to 1,500 kg ROEQ TMS-C1500 in combination with the new S-Cart1500W, significantly increase the transport potential of heavier loads on the MiR500, MiR600, MiR1000 and MiR1350 robots. With the TMS-C1500, the MiR1000 or MiR1350 can be used in freight applications up to 1,500 kg, which weighs more than ever before. Similarly, this superstructure allows the MiR500 or MiR600 models to be used in the transport application of up to 800 kg of cargo, which is a significantly higher value than in the case of other MRE systems.

The TMS-C1500 can also pick up and leave material in a trolley at a specific location in a free space without the need for a docking station, eliminating downtime of the mobile robot that does not have to wait and can immediately go for a new one after leaving the trolley in place. Extension of automated lifting functions

Extension module TML200 with a stroke range of 40 mm is designed to lift the load on the MiR250 robot. Another, versatile member of the ROEQ superstructure product line can not only lift and transport boxes, but also ROEQ pallets, racks and trucks. Added add-ons that support a wide range of applications allow the MiR250 to be used in a variety of scenarios, while eliminating the need for more expensive solutions, such as typical conveyors. In addition, the TML200 comes with a load presence sensor that prevents unwanted retrieval of additional material if the TML200 is already loaded.

Direct integration with MiR

ROEQ Assist software is a key component for the implementation of a comprehensive, standardized, professional ARM deployment. In order to simplify integration, improve productivity and streamline commissioning, ROEQ Assist software uploads preset work tasks to the MiR robot, which can then be modified directly in the MiR interface. The result is a fast, consistent implementation of an AMR deployment application on an enterprise device.

ROEQ Assist also provides predefined functions that make it easy to set up mobile robots. For example, it offers safety zones relevant to specific ROEQ accessories – on ROEQ trolley solutions, these zones are activated automatically by the add-on module, which guarantees safe and efficient navigation of the mobile robot.
