Samsung just recently introduced three new flagships for 2021. Samsung Galaxy S21+ It boasts a straight 6.7 ″ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, quality cameras or even the new powerful Exynos 2100 processor.

The novelty has dimensions of 161.4 x 75.6 x 7.8 mm and a weight of 202 grams. Compared to the Galaxy S20 +, it is 0.1 mm thinner, 0.5 mm lower and 1.9 mm wider. In practice, the difference will be negligible.

The Exynos 2100 offers high performance in any application or game

The performance will be provided by the 5 nm Exynos 2100 processor introduced the day before, which is supposed to offer 30 percent higher performance than its predecessor and has an integrated 5G modem. It looks like it will be a very strong competitor to the Snapdragon 888. The device comes with 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB internal storage. However, you will not insert a memory card.

Still quality cameras

The main camera received a resolution of 12 megapixels, optical image stabilization and f / 1.8 brightness. It is completely identical to the camera in the Galaxy S20 and S20 +. The ultra-wide-angle lens offers a 120-degree angle of view and lacks autofocus compared to the new Galaxy S21 Ultra.

As part of the zoom, the novelty relies on a 64-megapixel sensor that offers 3x lossless zoom, but not optical. Its brightness is f / 2.0 and it is equipped with optical image stabilization. At the front we find a 10 MP selfie sensor with f / 2.2 brightness and autofocus. The photo equipment is identical to the Galaxy S21 introduced and smaller today.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 + has a quality display, although only with FHD + resolution

Its diagonal is 6.7 ″ and it is a flat Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. The resolution has been reduced to 2400 x 1080 pixels compared to last year, but it is still fully sufficient. The 120 Hz refresh rate has remained, but is now adaptive, ranging from 48 to 120 Hz, which should save some power. The maximum brightness is a very decent 1300 rivets.

S Pen support is lacking, which is the prerogative of the Ultra model only. What is not missing, however, is the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor directly in the display. You can traditionally rely on a great display with excellent viewing angles and very good readability in any conditions.

Battery and charging

A battery with a capacity of a very decent 4800 mAh suggests that the endurance could be above standard. The used energy-saving 5 nm processor should also signify good endurance. Last year’s Exynos processors did not shine much in this direction, we will see what it will be like this year. When it comes to charging, big things didn’t happen here. The cable can be used to charge the smartphone with a maximum power of 25 W and wirelessly with a power of 15 W. There is also reverse wireless charging. In the field of charging, all the innovations presented today are exactly the same.

Price and availability in Slovakia

Samsung Galaxy S21 + will go on sale in Slovakia on January 29, 2021, the price starts at € 1,049 for the variant with 128 GB storage. It will also be possible to pre-order the device from 28 January 2021. For pre-orders, the customer will receive a bonus, Galaxy Buds Live and Smart Tag wireless headphones in the total value of € 203.90.

Procedure for applying the pre-order bonus:

• Pre-order of the smartphone at the official Samsung dealer from 14.1. to 28.1.2021.
• Each pre-order must be registered on the website Samsung no later than 28 January 2020 (inclusive).
• From 29 January to 28 February 2021 (inclusive) after the device has been issued to the customer, this customer will complete the already created registration by completing the data on the website Samsung.
• After approving the complete registration, the customer will receive an e-mail containing an e-voucher to receive the relevant bonus.
• The customer can use the e-voucher to claim the bonus until it is generated until March 29, 2021 in the Samsung eshop.
