Tamás Totyik will take over the position from July 1, 2023.
At Saturday’s renewal congress, former vice president Tamás Totyik was elected as the new president of the Teachers’ Union for five years, according to a post on the organization’s Facebook page.
Gábor Gosztonyi, responsible for vocational training, became one of PSZ’s vice-presidents for another five years, who has held this position since 2016. A young physics teacher, Tóth Tünde, was elected second vice-president. He will also be responsible for international relations.
Tamás Totyik will take over the post of president of the PSZ from July 1, 2023, when the mandate of the current president Zsuzsa Szabó, who did not run again, expires.
