New major upgrade of Samsung Galaxy Labs

In 2019, the Samsung introduced a new application called Galaxy Labs. Works similar to Good Lock (Nice Lock for Greece and beyond), offering a variety of different modules that users can download to perform different system tasks: Battery Guardian monitors energy-intensive (for no reason) applications that want to drain your battery, while the App Booster optimizes applications after a software update to maintain their proper operation. This week we see the arrival of two new sections, while several others are updated in the edition 2.0, with new features.

Let’s take a closer look at the individual sections.

•Battery Tracker
It has received a slight visual refresh, and the 7-day chart now shows the time your screen is open, just like the 24-hour chart.

•Battery Guardian
It has received a major update, with many new features. On-screen power saving should be enabled per application and will quickly reduce the screen brightness when not in use, before the screen timeout finally locks the device. Saving energy during sleep limits performance while you sleep, limiting background activity and CPU usage to extend your battery life.

•File Guardian
Removed due to the fact that most Samsung applications now have their own recycle bin.

•Memory Guardian
It’s a brand new module that lets you see exactly what RAM is using. In addition to the ability to clear applications from memory, there is a useful user history chart. It analyzes how the system distributes RAM, executes applications and caches.

•Thermal Guardian
It aims to keep your phone … cool and has some handy features to make it happen. Allows you to set the temperature limit above which the phone starts to decrease performance. Dragging the slider to the left informs your phone that it will start dropping its performance 2 degrees Celsius below normal. Conversely, dragging it to the right will increase this limit by 2 degrees Celsius respectively.

In closing it is worth noting that this is the biggest update the Galaxy Labs has seen since the 2019 release and the new features are definitely useful. As always, you can to download everything from the Galaxy Store, and from the APK Mirror:
