Pro Power Onboard technology delivers up to 2.3 kW of electrical power via outlets to power digital devices, tools or sports and camping equipment when there is no access to the grid. The car can tow up to 2,000 kg.

The Tourneo with the plug-in hybrid engine combines the 2.5-liter four-cylinder operating on the Atkinson cycle and an electric motor, with the 11.8 kWh battery providing an electric range of 50 kilometers.

As for the diesel engine, this is a 2,000 cc offered in three versions of 136, 150 and 170 hp and is mated to both a 6-speed manual gearbox and an 8-speed automatic, with the all-wheel drive system being in the additional equipment. With the diesel engine, the vehicle has a towing capacity of 2,500 kg.

Production of the new Ford Tourneo Custom will take place at the Ford Otosan plant in Kocaeli, Turkey, and deliveries to Europe will begin from mid-2023.
